So, you’ve had your baby! Congratulations! It’s a wonderful time, but let’s not kid ourselves that there won’t be points in your day when you long for some time and focus that’s just for you. Perhaps something to bring you back to who you were before pregnancy.
This is what makes our Post Baby Kickstart membership (post-natal online wellness hub focusing on fitness for mums) so popular – and so important.

Membership to Post Baby Kickstart gives you access to a private Facebook group, where you can meet other new mums, and where you can chat with myself and other guest contributors about any related health and wellness issues. As well as being immensely helpful to our members, the information we gain in this group feeds directly into the material and resources we create just for you.
In the membership, you’ll have access to an ever-growing catalogue of on-demand online video workouts, relaxation sessions, downloadable recipes and nutrition advice, group chats, plus the opportunity to jump straight on to any of our live workout videos. These real-time events really boost morale and hold you accountable to your workout goals – and we know you have them! You’ll even have the opportunity to go through a Post-Natal Assessment, so that you can get the absolute best out of your membership.
All the workouts can be done at your own pace and intensity, and you don’t need any special equipment to sign up, as we focus mainly on cardio, stretch and release movements, and bodyweight exercises. As we’re sure every doctor, midwife, health visitor and ‘mum friend’ you’ve ever spoken to has told you, you need to think about your pelvic floor! A lot of what we’ll do will focus on working those muscles to really get you back to your old self and to negate the need for intervention later on.
If there’s some equipment you already have and are keen to use in your post-natal workouts, let us know in the group and we’ll design something around it! Add to all of this, sessions on yoga, relaxation, and nutrition, and you’ve got yourself a full bundle of wellness – now that your little bundle of joy has arrived and is very likely taking up every other minute of your time.
As well as helping you feel like your old self, all of our exercises are going to help you recover physically and emotionally after having gone through one of the biggest changes your body could possibly experience. Let’s take care of you and your wellbeing, so you can take care of your baby.
Whilst we want to go to every length possible to make everyone feel welcome, please note the following two points when looking to join the membership:
- You don’t have to have been a member of Fit 4 Bump prior to joining us, but if you were, this is where you’ll make your natural transition after staying in that group for up to 10 weeks after the birth of your baby.
- Brand new to the membership? You can join us from 6 weeks post-partum if you had a vaginal birth, and from 10 weeks if you had a C-section. Regardless of your levels of fitness prior to giving birth, or your experience of exercise - or indeed your experience of labour - this amount of time allows your body to fully heal – so don’t be offended if we turn you away 3 days after giving birth! Go home and rest when you can!
